This seems obvious, you should leave them in the retainer container that came with them. I counsel patients to always place the container in their medicine cabinet for safe keeping. Many patients are tempted to leave them on their night table, sometimes wrapped in tissue paper. This is a bad idea, since pets like to chew on bleaching stints and sometimes tissue paper can be thrown out. Bleaching trays are not cheap and can cost between $300-500. Most people wouldn't leave $500 sitting on their night table, so why leave your bleaching trays there?
